October Favourites

Hello everyone. Yes, it’s me again. Been a while, eh? If you follow me on Twitter you might have seen me tweet about losing all motivation to blog. I seem to go through these phases quite often, I hope I’m not alone. Anyway I’m back with a monthly favourites, I did miss September because I didn’t think there was much to write about.

But anyway here’s what I’ve been loving recently.

I’m only writing about entertainment (I usually start with beauty but I haven’t made any beauty purchases lately or been using anything in particular) and because this is the only thing I can really talk about this month.

Doctor Foster – I am so behind with this, I think just about everyone has watched this show by now but I noticed it on Netflix and decided it was now or never. I’m so glad I did. I’ve just finished season 1 and omg it was amazing. If you’re not aware, it’s about a woman, Gemma Foster, who finds out her husband is having an affair with a younger woman. She goes down a dark path as she finds out more secrets, more betrayals and it’s just so good.

American Horror Story – We have two episodes to before this season ends and omg I can’t predict a single thing going on with this season, it’s been amazing. After the last season, which I didn’t really enjoy, I didn’t know what to expect from this one. Cult is becoming one of my favourite seasons, think it’s been brilliant so far, can’t wait to see how it ends.

Until you’re mine – This is a book by Samantha Hayes I recently read. It’s about a woman who becomes increasingly suspicious of her nanny and a string of crimes made on pregnant women. It’s written in different points of view, which I don’t normally enjoy reading but for this book it just works. I can’t recommend it enough.

Uncharted – Again, I’m quite late with this because just about everyone has played this game. I got the collection (the first 3, still to buy the newest) for my birthday and I absolutely love it. I’m currently on the second one, Among Thieves, really enjoying it. It reminds me a lot of Tomb Raider, another game I love. The graphics are so amazing in this game though, really wasn’t expecting that because it’s been out a while but I honestly think it looks just as impressive as newer games.

Aaaaand that’s it. Little shorter than usual, but trying to get back into the swing of things. Thanks for reading,

Steph x
